Movie Review #01:Driving Lessons.
It was one of a hell good British movie.
It was saying to parody those "religious fascist" which "preaching at the whorehouse".
I watched that DVD with my Scouse friend Mary Shane, and some of a scenary, such as Dalmeny and Grassmarket(I miss Scotland),nearby Edinburgh Castle.
It's started when Ben Marshall,a 17-year old boy looking for a job.His mum,Laura, who has strong religious belief, and his dad Robert,a vicar at nearby church.
However,Laura are engaging affair with Peter,a young priest who portraying Jesus Christ in one of Christmas play.
Ben working with an alcoholic soap opera actress,Evie Walton.
Evie,an atheist, believes the power of words are everything in this world.Evie bring Ben to a camping trip that change his life and belief, forever.
Together, they bond each other,to love poetry and art.
After finds out Evie bring "bad influence" towards Ben,Laura prohibits Ben to work with Evie. Both Evie and Ben suffered with emotional heartache. In the end,the affairs no more longer be a secret, and all the hypocrasy rise up.
Ben,in the end quit job with Evie, but continue study in English Literature.Evie became his mentor to write poetry.
Seriously, this is good movie. But not for religious fascist who watch pornography while preaching people about religion.
